Birdie

It was love at first sight.

I walked into PAWS to take a look, and I immediately loved Birdie (then Dilly). She had just been transported from Texas, and I had just moved from Texas – a perfect match! Birdie started out very timid, but with patience and lots of treats, has become a funny, vocal, lively city dog! She loves pulling me along hikes just as much as she loves a nap on the couch. 

She’s become fascinated with bees since they’ve come out in the spring and sticks her nose in flowers and tries to follow after them, which is of course is both so charming and absolutely terrifying!

I’m lucky to be her companion!
