Intake Hours

WCHS is only able to take in animals that are found in Washington County. If you found an animal in a different county, please contact that areas humane society as the owner’s will not be looking for their animal at a different humane society.

Stray Intake Hours
WCHS is open the following hours for stray intakes:

Monday- 8:00 am-7:00pm
Tuesday- 8:00 am-5:00pm
Wednesday- 8:00am-8:00pm
Thursday- 8:00 am-5:00pm
Friday- 8:00 am-5:00pm
Saturday- 8:00 am-7:00pm
Every day the staff is on lunch from 12:00pm-1:00pm

If you need to call a wildlife rehabilitator, please leave a message and allow time for them to call you back. They are likely on the phone with another person, tending to a new intake, or it could be feeding time
